Old South Sea Community or Jiunanhai Community can be reached via I2 exit of Gongyuanqian Station line 2. It is in walking distance to Beijing Road and the Temple of six banyan trees.

Old South-Sea County Community
The Old South-Sea County Community in Guangzhou’s Yuexiu District is a historic area built with traditional Lingnan architecture. This community features well-preserved Qilou buildings, blending European and local styles. Historically significant, the area reflects the city’s development and continues to attract those interested in its cultural roots. Recent preservation efforts have revitalized the area, maintaining its historical charm while integrating modern amenities, making it a living museum of Guangzhou’s history.
Apart from being a well preserved historical site in Guangzhou, this community is much less frequented than the nearby Beijing road, temple and other attractions. There are a few Cafe and Tea houses as well as small restaurants for Cantonese desserts. You can also find a well equipped boutique store in the community.
