Cantonese Dessert
Dessert or how it is called in Chinese “Tang Shui” which means sugar water is something everyone can and should try on their visit to Guangzhou. No organs, no spices just some nice and sweet pudding. The craziest you can get are red beans as topping on your dessert. I love ginger milk pudding, my wife the classic milk pudding. You can also get various other snacks with coconut milk, mango, tapioca pearls and even young lotus roots.
You can taste that their Chinese desserts are selfmade and not factory products. Compared to my local dessert shop downstairs, you can really taste milk in the pudding from Baihua.
Bai Hua is one of the older known stores for Chinese dessert in Guangzhou. Some of their branches exists since the 80s and they will continue to exist as locals love their huge variety of all the typical Cantonese locals desserts that you can get at Baihua for a fair price and in good quality.
