Taikoo Wharf (太古仓)
Formerly a British wharf, these cute brick stone houses now house several bars and live-houses. At day-time the area is mostly empty which means, you can enjoy a decent western meal in peace. At night it becomes crowded, but way less crowded than Party Pier.
The bars or clubs inside often have live music while the outside bars are more relaxed. The general crowd is very relaxed and young. The location directly next to the water makes it a very suitable place for an cozy evening.
Food wise you can get the typical Chinese western food consisting of Pizzas, finger foods, burger and pasta
You can sit next to the Yacht harbour in one of the various bars, have a cocktail or beer and order a steak. The area is not big but you can walk through it and get ice-cream or other snacks from various food trucks.
Highlight for anyone that has fresh legs. The whole riverside on the west of Haizhu is beautiful, and you can walk through various nice parks up until Shamian in around one hour.
