Tiyu Xilu is the name of a Street and a metro station of line 1 and 3 but it means and includes the whole area around that station.

Tiyu Xilu
Tiyu Xilu translated means Sports West Road and in fact is just the name of the main road going through that area. However, it is more than just a street. As the metro station uses its name, most people refer to the whole area by the name Tiyu Xilu, which includes many activities to meet people and of course for shopping in China Guangzhou
Shopping
Shopping in Guangzhou is something causing you to walk a lot due to its many pedestrian streets inn Old Canton China but also due to its many modern and fancy shopping malls in all over Guangzhou, but specially in Tianhe district. Right at Tiyu Xilu you will find 3 malls directly in one row with each of them topping the other. All major brands and many famous food chains are available there.
From east to west you will first find Teem Plaza, then Parc Central and Grandview Mall to the West.
A bit more far south you can find smaller malls offering local brands and a bit to the South you can find Taikoo Hui, which offers more luxurious products.
Restaurants & Streetfood
Due to Tiyu Xilu being the modern and new town part of Guangzhou, this is where you can find all global food chains and many high-class local and western restaurant. Just go through one of the malls to find excellent food for any taste.
If you are up to smaller food stalls or maybe interesting small restaurants, owned by either old families running their business for decades or run by young people trying something new. In that case you can talk a walk direction south west, direction Pearl river new town and the neighbourhood just south of the three malls.
Walking
Talking about walking we just gave you the best option in the food paragraph. Walking towwards south from the three malls will get you to a neighbourhood with many small restaurants, cafes, galleries and boutique stores. You can continue south and will get to Huacheng Square if you are up for a longer stroll.
