Canton Tower (广州塔)
The Canton Tower in Guangzhou is not just a TV Tower. It quickly became the symbol of the city and its significance. Once the tallest and now one of the tallest towers in the world, the Canton Tower can be seen from nearby and far away in the city. The strategic location makes it visible even kilometer away, thanks to the many rivers and channels that provide an open view over long distance through the city.
As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a world of wonder and excitement. The Canton Tower offers visitors a thrilling observation deck with breathtaking panoramic views of Guangzhou’s skyline, adrenaline-pumping attractions like the Sky Drop, which is a free fall tower on top of the Tower.
You can also take the Bubble Tram, a small ferry wheel like tram that goes around the tower and if that is not enough there is another “landmark walk” without glass facade even higher up the tower.
But the Canton Tower isn’t just about thrills and excitement; it’s also a hub of cultural richness and artistic expression. Take a moment to appreciate the tower’s stunning architectural design, which blends traditional Cantonese motifs with cutting-edge technology, creating a fusion of past and present.
The entrance fee starts from 150 RMB per person and goes up to 566 RMB if you add the Bubble Tram and entrance to the landmark walk.
