Dim Sum Chef (武林厨神)
Dim Sum Chef became me and my wifes go-to morning tea restaurant over the years and that for a few reasons.
The first one being that it available throughout the city and you can always find one. So wherever we lived, we always had one within 15 minutes of walking.
The second reasons is that Dim Sum Chef has a wide variety of dishes, including many non sweet dishes that are meatless. As a vegetarian it is great to not to just have tarts and pudding to choose from. Generally they do have a very large dim sum menu, so you can choose different items each time.
The atmosphere is similar as it is in other mid-price range Dim Sum restaurants. Full of old people that are shattering and laughing, which ads to the charm of morning tea in Guangzhou. So if you want to have a authentic Dim Sum while visiting Guangzhou and prefer to not to break the bank, Dim Sum Chef is a good and reliable choice.
Also, the tea in morning tea is real. You will find a small faucet, tea kettle and tea on your table to prepare fresh tea while eating.
