The five rams statue is in Yuexiu Park and thus can be reached from either the yuexiu park metro station of line 2 or by cab to the park entrance.

Five Rams Statue (五羊石像)
Guangzhou’s mythical origins. Built in 1960, this statue pays homage to the legendary five rams who, according to local folklore, ridden into the city teaching its residents how to grow rice and ending the specter of famine forever.
This origin gives Guangzhou one of its several nicknames, the city of rams, and also provides the names for several sport clubs like the Guangzhou Rams Rugby Team and more. The other name for Guangzhou is the flower city, which makes sense for a city in this type of climate.
The statue itself is medium large, but 100% worth visiting as the climb is not to high and the surrounding Yuexiu Park might be the best park in Guangzhou.
