The Canton Fair Complex can be reached by metro line 8 mainly to Pazhou station but also Xingangdong Station depending on the hall you want to visit. Driving there by taxi is also possible, as both metro and road will be extremely crowded during peak trade fair times.

Canton Fair Complex
The Canton Fair Complex is venue to the most famous Trade Fair, the Canton Fair which will be held twice a year since 1957. More information about the fair itself here: Canton Fair Official Website.
This trade show complex is one of the largest convention centers in the world with 1,131,000 m2 (12,174,000 sq ft) in size, which includes the world’s largest exhibition hall in the sheer size of 157,935.21 m2 (1,700,000.5 sq ft).
Apart from the Canton Fair, you can visit trade shows year around which includes the furniture fair and Guangzhou Design Week.

Due to its sheer size there is nothing much directly near to the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. You will find many Hotels like the Westin and a small Riverside on the south and the Pearl River side on the north. There are 1-2 smaller Malls in Pazhou and Xingangdong that have restaurants, however we recommend to go one station further on line 8 to “Wanshengwei” where you can find many more options.
