Comforting Soup
Dayang is a guide Michelin soup restaurant just in the east of old canton China. It is very small and you can mainly get chicken soup cooked and served in a coconut there. The meat quality is great, the soup tastes extremely comforting and the coconut, which you can eat afterwards, is extremely juicy. We went to this Guangzhou restaurant in Yuexiu on a cold winter evening and it was exactly what we needed!
You can also get some other soups apart from the standard black chicken soup, but they are not always available, as they get sold our quick.
Apart from Cantonese soups, this restaurant in Guangzhou can be found in a very walkable area of the old town. It is still close to the famous Beijing Road, yet much less crowded and packed with local shops instead of brand stores and souvenir shops.
