Perma Bakery
Perma Bakery or Perma Coffee is a very small but exquisite chain in Guangzhou. They just have very few stores but in my opinion are one if not the best bakery in Guangzhou. Surely that comes down to quality as well, but the main reason is that they offer bread, pastry and more that I and other Europeans would be more used to. Typical western bakeries in China tend to offer a more Americanized array of bakeries plus always the same classics (croissant, bagel, baguette,…)
Perma offers Ciabatta Panini sandwiches, baguette with mozzarella and tomato, citrus tart, quiche and many more delights you would not find so often in other bakeries in Guangzhou.
While their food is top notch and you probably would like to buy the whole store empty, it would mark as difficult due to limited space in your belly but also financially. Perma bakery has fair prices for the quality but is definitely a bit more expensive than others.
