Pipa has two branches in Guangzhou, one south of Taigucang, far away from any metro station in between a creative zone and an area full of factories and wholesale markets. The other one just at the pearl river near Liujiang Station of line 8.

PIPA Trattoria (枇杷小厨披萨研究所)
To be fair upfront, I am biased as I order their pizza since 4-5 years regularly as take-out. We have been there only twice, as both stores are a bit far from where we usually go out. One is in Lujiang just next to the pearl river, the second one is a bit more south of Taigucang in south-western Haizhu.
The brandch of this best Pizzeria in Guangzhou that we have been to, near Taigucang, has been very spacious clean and relaxing. The store itself is within an old industrial zone, and the large buildings come with the benefit of very high ceilings.
The pizza is top class, thin and nice baked dough from a wood oven with real mozzarella cheese and other fine toppings. You can even see the wood, used for the oven, on the outside of the restaurant. Very rustical charme!
Apart from Pizza, we had very nice authentic Italian Pasta from Pipa in Guangzhou, so feel free to order something else as well.
Fun fact, this neapolitan pizzeria in Guangzhou has many bad reviews on meituan, stating that the cheese platter came with cheese that had gone bad (gorgonzola), or that the pizza was burnt. So authenticity is 10/10

Looks so good, too bad it’s really far from me up in Baiyun. Have you tried Pizza Forza in Meihuyuan? It’s located in quite a cool building-VLAB
It is very good, I do regularly order take out from there. But yes, there are a few other good ones. Will need to go to some places again, and take pictures this time. Will check your recommendation!
