Zhujiang Park (珠江公园)
Zhujiang Park is a large green space located in Tianhe District of Guangzhou, in Liede to be exact, which is part of, or next to Zhujiang New Town. This Park in Guangzhou is covering approximately 27 hectares, offering a quiet retreat with its picturesque landscapes, walking paths, and tropical greenery.
Zhujiang Park is well-designed, featuring small lakes, bridges, and pavilions that blend traditional Chinese garden aesthetics with modern functionality. It’s a popular spot for morning exercises, family outings, and leisurely strolls. Visitors can also find areas for children to play and open spaces for relaxation. Conveniently located near urban hubs, Zhujiang Park provides a peaceful escape from the grey of concrete from nearby skyscrapers and plazas.
If you enter Zhujiang Park from the east entrance there might be a short moment of disappointment, as you will find yourself on a very boring looking path. However you will then be stunned by amazing palm gardens or the surprisingly less secured waterfall and small river. Usually everything small stream or water way is secured by a fence, however Zhujiang Park makes sure that you can take your children and let them play in the water as it is still very flat and safe.
