Metropolitan Plaza Guangzhou is a wide shopping mall that combines retail, dining, and entertainment options as most malls in China do. Metropolitan is known for its close location to Shamian and other attractions in Liwan, making it a ideal place to cool down on a sunny day.
Also the diverse range of shops, from high-end international brands to popular local retailers, making it a hotspot for shopping in Guangzhou. For both, residents and tourists.
The plaza also features a variety of restaurants offering different cuisines, as well as entertainment facilities such as e-sport facilities and recreational spaces like beauty or nail salons, providing a well-rounded experience for visitors.
Metropolitan Plaza is a very wide built Mall that does not come with many floors. The wide design makes it possible to host large retail spaces, one of them being Decathlon for fair priced sport products, but also Tesla and other electric car brands do have their showrooms there.
The inside of the Metropolitan Plaza is the larger attraction as the extremely large plaza offers a view to the highway bridge and residential buildings only. However, as you will need to pass Metropolitan plaza while walking from Shamian to Shangxiajiu, we definitely recommend a stroll through and not past Metropolitan Plaza.
