Reaching Party Pier can be a hustle, leaving even a bigger one, especially getting a Taxi at night. You can also take the Tram directly to Party Pier or Walk from Modiesha metro station, which takes probably 15-20 minutes.

Party Pier
Party Pier is the night out place in Guangzhou. Like most cities, Guangzhou also has its own area that is cramped with clubs, bars and small restaurants. The area lies directly at the riverside, near the Canton Tower and thus is not far from the city center. There are rooftop bars with a great view over the river and the Guangzhou skyline and there are many clubs with different kinds of music.
There often are themed parties, like carnival, st. partriks day or more. But apart from clubs, you can also just enjoy a cocktail and a burger on one of the terrasses.
The prices there are not cheap, and many bars require a minimum consumption amount to be able to get a table. So make sure you come with a group of people.
Be aware that Party Pier in Guangzhou is famous, and it can and will be very crowded on special occasions. It is a great place for party on a normal weekend, but do not go there on new years eve, or other special days.
