Kuiyuan Gallery (逵园)

Kuiyuan Gallery (逵园) is situated in the Dongshankou area of Guangzhou and serves as both an art space and cultural center. Built in 1922, the red-brick villa reflects Western-style architecture that was common during the Republican period in China, but in terms of Guangzhou this architecture is what made the area famous for visitors. Especial for photography.

Today, Kuiyuan functions as a venue for various art exhibitions, showcasing works from local and international artists. The gallery also hosts workshops and events, making it an active part of Guangzhou’s creative scene. Located in the quieter streets of Dongshankou, it provides a peaceful spot for those interested in art and history.

Dongshankou in Guangzhou is a great place to walk through while visiting Guangzhou, and that means not only for one day but you can easily spend half your Guangzhou trip there, walk through the neighborhood, try great food, go for shopping and visit galleries like Kuiyuan Gallery.
