This Kilimanjaro is a far less dangerous path away, you do not need to climb, just exit from Sanyuanli station and walk a few hundred meters.

The Kilimanjaro

One great thing about Guangzhou is, that it really is an international city. A term often used as soon as there is an Italian and Japanese restaurant around. But besides many Italian and Japanese restaurants, you can also find a wide variety of food from around the world, including Tanzania.

The restaurant itself is located in an area a bit outside the center, a area famous for being home to many African and middle eastern traders. The building looks a bit empty and dodgy at night, but that is due to the fact of it being a bit outside the city. The restaurants interior looks good and clean.

The food itself is most likely comfort food for many of the surrounding visitors, for us it was definitely “good” but nothing special as Ethiopian food for example. We had a chicken curry, which tasted great and “Ugali” is a very fluffy and great carb to pair it with. Fried bananas also did a great job on re-loading carbs after a long day of walking. Apart from that, there have been many BBQ fish variations on the menu, unfortunately we do not like fish, so that is up for you to rate.
