Huifu Snack Street
To be fair, up until I did start writing this Blog, I was not aware which of the roads in the Beijing Road area is the Beijing road and how the others are called. Turns out the street that the pedestrian street in Guangzhou, which goes westwards from the main road, the “Beijing road” is called Huifu Street. As it is one of the best parts in this area, I always associated it just with Beijing road.
If you are a looking for streetfood in Guangzhou, different snacks, than Huifu road is the perfect choice for you. Especially if you are tourist in Guangzhou, as you can find lots of the usual chinese street food like stinky tofu and sausages besides cantonese classics such as changfen and double skimmed milk.
Fun fact, I did have my first “date” with my wife years back on this road and she showed me Ginger Milk Pudding, expecting to give me weird Cantonese street food in Guangzhou, which I might not like. But we Europeans love some ginger taste in sweets 🙂
